In the beach club on the banks of the Ihme and Leine rivers, comfortable deckchairs await all those who want to spend the day relaxing on the sand. The bar on the Ihme is also very popular during the day, with young families from Linden and Nordstadt in particular coming together here. In 2005, an artificial beach was created on the so-called Fährmannsinsel. This also offers children the opportunity to play undisturbed in the sand while the adults enjoy a cold drink in a deckchair or take a dip in the cool waters of the Ihme and Leine.
