The Expo Plaza in Hanover is a central event venue in the Mittelfeld district. With a capacity of up to 25,000 people, it offers space for large events of all kinds. The plaza is located between the German Pavilion and the ZAG Arena and is part of the former world exhibition grounds.
The Expo Plaza is known for its open-air concerts and festivals. National and international artists regularly perform here. Upcoming events include performances by Slipknot, Sido, Martin Garrix and Cro.
The plaza has four signposted entrances (north, east, south-east, south-west) and is barrier-free. The north entrance is particularly suitable for wheelchair users as it offers quick access to the wheelchair platform.
The Expo Plaza is easily accessible by public transport as well as by car. Light rail lines 6 and 16 run from the Kröpcke stop directly to the Expo-Plaza terminus. Car parking spaces are available for drivers in the South 26 to 29 and East 14 and 15 areas.
