CSD Hanover

The CSD is traditionally celebrated on the Whitsun weekend

Christopher Street Day (CSD) Hanover is the annual highlight for diversity, democracy and human rights in the city. On Whitsun weekend, 7 and 8 June 2025, the demonstration will once again parade through the streets of Hanover and end with a large street party on Opernplatz.

The colourful hustle and bustle begins on Saturday with a kick-off rally, followed by the traditional demonstration through the city. Back at Opernplatz, visitors can look forward to a varied programme with stages, stalls and catering. The Pride weekend continues on Sunday: music, activities and a festive atmosphere make the CSD an unforgettable experience.

With around 25,000 visitors, the CSD is Hanover's largest event for tolerance and equality. The event is organised by the non-profit Andersraum e.V. All current information is available at www.hannovercsd.de.
