The Linden Kids Culture Festival brings together numerous initiatives, institutions and actors from the district to offer children a diverse programme of music, theatre, dance and creative hands-on activities. The focus is on the neighbourhood itself - as a cultural experience for children.
The event focuses on interaction, creative freedom and cultural participation. On this day, children are not only given access to various forms of expression, but are also actively involved. The festival aims to enable children to experience their city in a new way - through movement, music, design and encounters.
In addition to a varied stage programme with music, shows and performances, the festival offers numerous activity and hands-on stands. Whether it's arts and crafts, dance activities, small theatre formats or sporting activities - there is something for every age and interest. The focus is clearly on co-creation: Children are invited to become active themselves, ask questions, try out new things and express themselves.
