Finland - Suomen Pyrotekniikka (SPT)

Founded in 2003 by cousins Aki and Simo Niittymäki, Suomen Pyrotekniikka Oy has developed into Finland's largest fireworks company in just two decades. With almost 300 shows per year, the team now shapes the industry - a particular record was 67 fireworks displays in just one day on New Year's Eve 2019. SPT is also a name to be reckoned with internationally: three-time Finnish champion and multiple awards at prestigious competitions, including victories in Riga (2017) and Courchevel (2020). At the Pyronale in Berlin 2023, the team secured 2nd place and the Audience Award.
The largest fireworks display in Finland's history was unforgettable: the impressive staging for the 100th anniversary of independence on 31 December 2016 in Helsinki. Precision, passion and innovative spirit make SPT one of the leading representatives of European fireworks art today.
