Christmas with a difference - with mulled wine over the rooftops of Hanover and sand under your winter boots: the rooftop bar „Schöne Aussichten 360 Grad“ will be transformed into Hanover's highest city Christmas market for the first time this year. It starts on Friday, 21 November, three days before the official start of the Christmas markets in the city centre.
Mulled wine with a view and sand under your boots
A very special Advent experience awaits visitors to the Röselerstraße car park: instead of palm trees, fir trees, mushroom heaters, large umbrellas and wind protection ensure a cosy winter atmosphere - the sand of the summer bar remains a charming trademark. Operator Michael Rüger and his team create a festive atmosphere with mulled wine, hot cocktails, crêpes, lard cake and pulled duck in a bun. The view over the Marktkirche church and the festively illuminated city centre makes a visit an atmospheric highlight in the run-up to Christmas.
Celebrate above the rooftops of the city
The rooftop Christmas market is open from 5 p.m. on Wednesdays to Fridays and from 3 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays - the rooftop celebrates „open end“, while the lights go out in the city centre at 9 p.m.. If the new concept is well received, Rüger even wants to continue the market over the holidays until New Year's Eve.
