Ice skating in Hanover

When winter arrives in Hanover, many people are drawn to the city's ice rinks. The rinks are not only used for training, but also for laughing, trying new things and spending time together – a piece of winter culture that brings the city to life in its own unique way.

The atmosphere in Hanover's ice rinks is characterised by clear air, rhythmic gliding and the typical scraping of blades on the ice. Between light effects, music and family activities, a place is created where sport and leisure come together. Here, children learn their first steps on the ice, teenagers skate laps with friends, and those who are simply looking for exercise find it in an environment that conveys both energy and lightness.
