The world's only arched lift in the New Town Hall starts on Friday into the summer season - exclusive opening with DJ and drinks on Saturday
From Friday (13 March), the world's only arched lift in the New Town Hall will start its summer season. From 10 a.m., the special lift ride will once again take visitors up to the viewing platform high above Hanover.
At an angle of 17 degrees, they can travel up to the 97.73 metre high dome in the New Town Hall and follow the ride up close through a window in the cabin roof. Another window in the floor of the cabin can be made transparent at the touch of a button. Once you have reached the top, you are rewarded with a fantastic panoramic view over the
state capital. In good weather, you can see the Deister and even the peaks of the Harz mountains. The commissioning of the arched lift makes the New Town Hall a tourist highlight in Hanover every spring.
On Saturday, 14 March, guests will also have the opportunity to take the arched lift up to the dome of the New Town Hall. The lift is available from 10 am available for visitors. From 12 noon DJ Kasir will create a great atmosphere above the rooftops of the city with a mix of international club sounds, hip-hop, house and the latest remixes directly on the viewing platform. Guests will also receive a welcome drink from Voelkel while stocks last.

The lift runs from Monday to Sunday and on public holidays from 10:00 to 17:30.
