Harmony-GerberThe greatest RocknRoll band in the world, the Supersuckers, formed back in 1988 and released their first album „The Smoke of Hell“ in 1992 on Seattle's Sub Pop label. At this point in their illustrious, almost 40-year career, Supersuckers have nothing left to prove to anyone. Led by charismatic singer/bassist Eddie Spaghetti, Supersuckers delight audiences who appreciate the band's freedom to rock out in the context of killer punk rock songs, along with their not-so-serious lyrics. So much so that the band's legacy has grown over the years, as has their fanatical fanbase.
The band's last three albums - „Holdin‘ the Bag, Suck It“ (2015, released in 2018) and „Play That Rock N‘ Roll“ (2020) - were practically produced and released by Supersuckers themselves. After years of relentless touring, Spaghetti, along with guitarist „Metal“ Marty Chandler and drummer Christopher „Chango“ von Streicher, decided to go back into the studio for the album „Liquor, Women, Drugs & Killing“ (Hardcharger Records), the band's twelfth studio album.
After forays into the cowboy and country realms in recent years, they have returned with snotty rawk ’n‘ roll, a raised middle finger and the typical Supersuckers sound - a little bit of country and a whole lot of Motörhead. No band is cooler than the Supersuckers. And the band's rock-n-roll train chugs tirelessly through the world. They have countless tours under their belts. Now on the road as a trio for a long time, they will also be delighting fans with a European tour in 2026. Songs from this album, old classics and one or two country songs are part of the programme. And plenty of coolness.
As Lemmy said: „If you don't like the Supersuckers, you don't like Rock-N-Roll.“ Lemmy
