350 years of the Grosser Garten Herrenhausen - exhibition "Garden art from master craftsmen"

To mark the 350th anniversary of the Great Garden in Herrenhausen, the impressive history of the gardens will be honoured in a special setting. Amidst the magnificent baroque backdrop, a varied programme of events awaits you, bringing the long tradition of garden culture to life.

With historical maps, original work utensils, scale models and rarely shown photographs, the exhibition provides a deep insight into the methods, challenges and developments of horticultural work. The historian Heike Palm has carried out extensive research and compiled previously unknown material. Her research opens up new perspectives on the multifaceted history of one of the most important baroque gardens in Europe.
