The Legendary Pink Dots

Legendary mix of psychedelic rock, industrial & synth-pop!

The Legendary Pink Dots are a Dutch band formed in the UK in 1980 and, despite their distinctly underground nature, have been musically influential over the years.

The band's name is derived from the pink nail polish dots on the piano in the squat in which founding members Edward and April lived. The band relocated to the Netherlands in the mid-1980s.

Their music is unique and difficult to categorise, but comparisons can be drawn with bands like Pink Floyd and Can.

Their sound has been described as a mixture of psychedelic rock, industrial, synth-pop and avant-garde. They have released over 40 records and are constantly touring the world.

Over the decades, the band's line-up has undergone many changes. In addition to founding member Edward Ka-Spel, the current line-up includes Erik Drost, Joep Hendrikx, Raymond Steeg and Randall Frazier.

Her new album "So Lonely In Heaven" will be released in January.
