Dragon Boat Festival

At Whitsun, the Maschsee belongs to the dragon boats!

From 7 to 9 June, the Hannoversche Kanu-Club von 1921 invites you to the traditional Dragon Boat Festival. The event has been delighting teams and spectators alike since 1995 and has established itself as one of the biggest and best dragon boat races in Europe.

The races start at 9:00 a.m. on all days, the drums are only silent during the lunch break. Spectators can watch the spectacle free of charge and cheer on the teams loudly.

The unique regatta course in the heart of Hanover and the captivating atmosphere make this festival a must for all dragon boat fans and sports enthusiasts.
