Newcomer conquers hearts with her music and debut single "Angst"

Julia Meladin is an impressive phenomenon: her debut single "Angst" reached over 1.3 million streams in a very short time, and more than 287,000 people already follow the 20-year-old singer-songwriter on TikTok. Her music speaks to many people's hearts and touches them deeply.

Born in Brandenburg in 2003, Julia came into contact with music at an early age. Even as a child, she wrote her own songs and performed with her band. She landed a viral hit on social media with "Angst", a song about worries and fears that was written in her room.

Since 2021, she has regularly published songs on TikTok on topics such as loneliness, pressure to perform and the search for identity.

After signing with Sony Music, she cemented her status as an up-and-coming artist with singles such as "10 out of 10". With over 5.9 million streams, Julia has a large fan base on platforms such as TikTok, Spotify and Instagram.
