Brilliant highlight of the anniversary year!

Herrenhausen sparkles in its anniversary year! To mark the 350th anniversary of the Herrenhausen Gardens, the International Fireworks Competition 2025 as usual on five dates between May and September for spectacular firework shows in the Great Garden - this time under the motto "Sparkling anniversary: 350 years of the Herrenhausen Gardens". Teams from countries that have contributed significantly to the history and development of gardens will compete against each other.
Each show begins with a standardised compulsory piece - this year the classic 'Zadok the Priest' by Handelknown as the UEFA anthem and performed by the NDR Radiophilharmonie. In the subsequent 25-minute freestyle, the teams unfold artistic stories in the sky to their own music, transporting the audience into a world full of unique firework images.
Culinary delights, a picnic area, live music and hands-on activities for children ensure an all-round successful experience until the evening culminates in a breathtaking firework display. Experience the magic of Herrenhausen.
