Hanover is (almost) around the corner. Let's go there!
Hanover, a metropolis of 500,000 inhabitants in the heart of northern Germany, has a lot to offer.
Trendy meeting places in the city centre are the Kröpcke clock or "Unterm Schwanz" (the equestrian statue at the main railway station). The most important shopping streets run through here, starting with the Ernst-August-Galerie, which attracts shoppers with 130 shops and restaurants. Popular districts such as Linden, the List or the Nordstadt and Südstadt with their trendy pubs, cafés and unusual shops invite you to stroll and stop for a bite to eat.
Hanover can also be seen in terms of parties, Nightlife & Discos. Numerous festivals become crowd pullers every year: Maschseefest, Schützenfest or open-air festivals - it's all happening here! The cult locations are unmistakable, e.g. the Faust Cultural Centre or the Ice factorywhere bands rock the stage or real originals perform. Hanover is known as a metropolis of art and museums, but it also has an interesting theatre scene. Exciting exhibitions, a varied programme of large and small stages - a trip to Hanover is worthwhile!
