Home-brewed beer for beer lovers
Palim, palim! Anyone entering the cult kiosk in the Nordstadt neighbourhood quickly realises that Onkel Olli's is more than just a normal kiosk. In fact, with more than 200 types of beer, the kiosk is a specialist shop for trendy craft beer. These include many rare varieties from smaller breweries. How about a tart Haltenhopf (in reference to Haltenhoffstraße), for example? The shelves are also filled with a wide variety of draught beers.
Thanks to its perfect location at the Lutherkirche, where six streets of the university neighbourhood converge, Onkel Olli's is an absolute hotspot for students, professors, postgraduates and street punks.
