A snack idyll at the end of the avenue
Whether it's a bockwurst, Brenzel, sherbet or a cold beer after work: In the octagonal boarded-up listed kiosk with the striking green "mushroom roof", you can enjoy a break in the shade of the old trees between the Georgengarten and the Großer Garten, fortify yourself with an ice cream on a stick for a long walk through Hanover's green promenades or simply meet up for a chat over an Aperol Spritz.
As soon as the temperature rises slightly, owner Lokman Enez pulls out the tables and chairs. He has a hundred outdoor seats with a view of the four-row avenue of magnificent lime trees - perhaps one of the most beautiful places in the whole of Hanover.
