The kiosk on the corner of Tulpenstraße and E-Damm in the centre of Hanover's Nordstadt district is spacious and bright. On the left is a photocopier next to shelves full of bags of crisps, on the right a PC with internet access for checking emails between cans of drinks. The selection of USB sticks and mobile phone accessories is just as large as the range of chocolate bars and sweets.
On mild evenings, when the Nordstadt community strolls along the E-Damm, the corner kiosk is the perfect place to stop for an ice-cold apple spritzer or a delicious Hopfenkaltschale on the go.
