Hanover Sports Park

Calenberg New Town

Sports performance centre Sportpark Hannover

The Hanover Sports Park is the largest combined sports area in a major city in Germany. The area around the sports performance centre, Erika Fisch Stadium and the stadium pool is approx. 45 hectares in size.

The Sports performance centre (SLZ) is equipped with a 50m swimming pool and is a national centre for water polo. The SLZ also has an athletics hall with a 200m running track and a 100m running tube. The sports hall can be divided into 4 segments, whereby one segment is equipped with a long jump and pole vault facility, so that optimal training conditions for competitive sports can be found even in the cold season.
