Hemmingen lido

The Hemmingen lido is a popular local recreation destination with a fantastic sandy beach and extensive lawn and shade areas. Visitors can build sandcastles, play chess and relax in the beach bar. The bathing area offers a spacious beach with a shallow entrance into the water. A lifeguard is always on site.

The lido also offers activities such as volleyball, basketball and table tennis, as well as a shaded playground for children. In addition to sports and swimming fun, the lakeside garden "Shinebar" offers cool drinks and exotic cocktails.

The quarry pond on which the lido is located is situated to the west of the Ricklinger gravel ponds in the "Obere Leine" landscape conservation area.
