In one of the most beautiful places in the city Hanover, the historic Ballhofplatz, is home to the legendary Teestübchen. Run by the Bohnecke family since 1970, the café offers a variety of the finest teas as well as coffee specialities and is particularly famous for its delicious cakes. These have been home-baked for two generations according to traditional family recipes. The lovingly designed interior is a listed building and thus offers a very cosy and unique atmosphere.
Tea room
Over 40 exquisite teas, served in style in a silver pot with a teapot, allow tea lovers to forget the hectic pace of everyday life. A new feature is the breakfast in the cosy coffee room - the small breakfast menu offers an exquisite selection from home-baked rolls to home-made almond honey granola with yoghurt and raspberries to Josephine's cinnamon buns. The Stübchen also offers a place to relax in the evening with delicious wines from selected vintners and small grilled sandwiches and quiches.
