On Saturday, 30 August 2025, Hanover will be the venue for an extraordinary music and cultural experience: Glitterbox, one of the world's best-known party formats, will celebrate its open-air premiere in Germany - in the middle of Hanover City Park.
Originally born in Ibiza, Glitterbox stands for disco, house and funk at the highest level, an inclusive, diverse community and an unmistakable mix of performance, music and joie de vivre. After six sold-out shows in the Kuppelsaal in Hanover, the format is now being taken to the next level: open air, in the open air - in the middle of the countryside.

Grammy winner, house pioneer and musical visionary - Louie Vega has been shaping the global club scene for over three decades. With a finely curated line-up of Afrohouse, house and deep house, the new format promises an unforgettable day full of electrifying atmosphere, hypnotic beats and intoxicating vibes. The city park will be transformed into a green open-air oasis where sound, nature and community merge into a unique experience.

Âme (live)
Âme - that's Kristian Beyer and Frank Wiedemann, co-founders of the influential label Innervisions. As a duo, they have significantly shaped the sound of the international electronic scene - somewhere between melodic techno, emotional deep house and avant-garde sound design.
In their acclaimed live performance, analogue synths, sophisticated harmonies and pulsating rhythms merge into a hypnotic flow that appeals to both the heart and the body. Anyone who experiences Âme live will sense that this is not a conventional DJ set, but a sonic journey full of intensity and artistic depth.

Reznik
As part of the Berlin label and collective Keinemusik, Reznik stands for a casual, playful sound between house, disco, breaks and Balearic vibes. His DJ sets are carefully composed stories full of groove, soul and subtle dynamics - never predictable, always danceable.
In addition to solo projects, he can regularly be heard in exciting B2B constellations, including with Keinemusik colleagues such as Adam Port or &ME. His deep musicality and keen sense for moods make him a favourite on sophisticated dancefloors worldwide - from Ibiza to Tel Aviv, from Berlin to Cape Town.
Reznik brings to the premiere of Electric Sunday exactly the mixture of elegance, warmth and ecstasy for which Keinemusik is so celebrated.
Shimza
South African superstar Shimza has taken the electronic music scene by storm with his unique Afrohouse sound and powerful rhythms. His sets are a perfect blend of technical precision and emotional depth that can be felt physically.
He tours worldwide at renowned festivals and clubs such as Tomorrowland (Belgium), Cercle Events (various venues), Ultra Music Festival (Miami) and Berghain (Berlin). A particular highlight is his musical collaboration with the globally acclaimed Black Coffee, with whom he takes African electronic music to a new level.
Shimza is not only a musician, but also a cultural driving force with his label Kunye and the platform "One Man Show", which promotes local talent and makes Africa's electronic scene internationally visible.
Sanfandisco
Jörg Gumnior, better known as Sanfandisko, has been a true veteran of the Hanoverian house scene since 1998. Co-founder of the legendary cult party Uschi Rakete, he has been shaping the club culture of his home city for decades.
He has been a resident at influential clubs such as Weidendamm, one of the most important venues for electronic music in Hanover. Sanfandisko is also a permanent fixture at renowned event series such as This Ain't Bristol, Uschi Rakete, Der Sonne entgegen, Disco Fieber and the Roter Salon.
His musical focus is uncompromisingly on house music - and has been doing so with passion and expertise for over 25 years. As local support at Electric Sunday, he brings deep-rooted passion, experience and an unmistakable sound that guarantees the perfect start to an unforgettable day.
