Christmas Garden Hanover

With the start of the winter months, Hannover Adventure Zoo will once again be transformed into one of the most impressive light parks in northern Germany. From 20 November 2025, the Christmas Garden Hanover The park invites visitors on an atmospheric circular route through millions of carefully placed points of light.

This year's season is all about new light installations that transform the zoo grounds into a harmonious interplay of colour, form and sound with artistic precision.

In the darkness of the evening, an extensive path opens up, leading through thematically arranged backdrops of light. Trees are enveloped in coloured lights, glowing spheres adorn lawns, while façades are bathed in artistic patterns through projections. The visual design is based on motifs of flora, fauna and geometric elements that lend the place a clearly structured aesthetic.

The tour begins at dusk and remains open until the evening hours. The average duration of a visit is between 60 and 90 minutes, depending on the time spent at individual stations.
