The new city tour "On the trail of crime - when the city holds its breath" takes you to places where real criminal cases have made history in Hanover. The topics covered include a fatal attack on a police officer, security-related incidents at the main railway station and political tensions surrounding demonstrations. The Ihme Centre as a once-discussed retreat during the RAF era and the Steintorviertel as a symbolic place of social debate are also in the spotlight.

The tour enables an objective discussion of urban security - far removed from sensationalism.
