New single "Was passiert": 14.02.2025
New album "Knutschen & Boxen": 10.10.25
New tour in November!

ok.danke.tschüss are starting the new year with a bang (or three). The unicorn rock band announces a new album on Valentine's Day of all days (coincidence?), which bears the romantic and sporty name "Knutschen & Boxen" and will be released on 10 October 2025. And the new album will be presented live on 10 dates in Germany and Austria in November. As if that wasn't enough big news, the album and tour announcement is also accompanied by the first harbinger: the new single "Was passiert".

Die-hard fans know from various festival shows (including Deichbrand, Highfield, Open Flair, etc.) that the track was already played live in summer 2024. The wait for new music from ok.danke.tschüss has finally come to an end after a year. After such a long time without new music, not every band can claim to still have over a quarter of a million monthly listeners. But ok.danke.tschüss have already proven several times that they are not a musical flash in the pan, but have come to stay.

With songs such as "Joel", "Zu laut in der Disko", "Vincent van Gogh" and "Soldat", they have often struck a chord with the zeitgeist and made it to the top of the Spotify viral charts. Their single "Joel", for example, has already been streamed over 6 million times and ok.danke.tschüss are regulars in major playlists such as "German Indie", "Viral Hits" and "Gegen den Strom".

ok.danke.tschüss are now also part of Alligatoah's music publishing company and have intensified their collaboration after accompanying him on his arena tour as support and showing that they can also easily perform on the country's biggest stages, e.g. in front of 15,000 people in the LANXESS Arena. ok.danke.tschüss are not only strong live and in streaming - they also regularly go viral with their clips on TikTok and Instagram. And all without following trends, dance challenges and the like. ok.danke.tschüss need nothing more than their music to touch people.

Single "What happens"

"Was passiert" is not one of those songs that tells you what is right and what is wrong. Instead, ok.danke.tschüss put a huge question mark in the world with their new single. It's about that point in life when you're plagued by the ignorance of not knowing what will happen if you're really brave now. So the inner battle rages and you ask yourself, should I really do it or should I leave it alone? Snogging or boxing? "This world is so broken and you're holding it together for me.

I think I'd only be left with rubble if we didn't have each other anymore." Such a melancholic indie-pop sound has never been heard from ok.danke.tschüss before. Probably a hint at new sounds on the upcoming album.
