„When I close my eyes and let myself go, I'm there again. On one of those endless summer days when the air shimmers and my friends call out to me from the riverbank.“
Countless Feelings But So Few Words„ - orbit's debut album - begins with this reminder.
After half a decade full of stories, experiences and encounters, Marcel Heym aka orbit The long-awaited first album is scheduled for 14 November 2025 and will be released in the winter of „25/26 on his “Small Town Friends on Europe Tour".
The album brings the nostalgic coming-of-age narrative that orbit began in 2020 with Perspectives to an emotional conclusion.
Countless Feelings But So Few Words is a look back at a symbolically ending „long summer“, a personal reflection on growing up and a farewell to a certain attitude to life that had previously characterised the young musician's art.
orbit looks back on an era that has seen him and his friends go from strength to strength: From rural northern Germany, across Europe to the legendary Burning Man Festival in the Nevada desert.
Five years have passed since 30-year-old producer Marcel launched the orbit project. In his early twenties, he moved to Berlin and began working there as a music producer. But the noise of city life doesn't bring him what he was looking for. He flees back to his hometown, back to the Weser, to nature, to his circle of friends. Here he finds peace and artistic freedom. The result is a project that is allowed to grow organically without being rushed.
