When July begins, Hanover becomes the stage for one of Europe's most impressive folk festivals: the Hanover Shooting Festival 2025. From the 04 to 13 July 2025 the capital of Lower Saxony invites you to ten days full of culture, community and enjoyment. The Rifle march on Sunday, 06 July 2025 is the absolute highlight of the Schützenfest. About 10,000 participants from Germany and abroad will march on a seven-kilometre route through Hanover's city centre - accompanied by marching bands, uniforms and international groups.
