On Saturday, 30 August 2025, Hanover will be the venue for an extraordinary music and cultural experience: Glitterbox, one of the world's best-known party formats, will be celebrating in the Stadtpark and the Glashalle of the Hanover Congress Centre Hanover.
Originally born in Ibiza, Glitterbox stands for disco, house and funk at the highest level, an inclusive, diverse community and an unmistakable mix of performance, music and joie de vivre. After six sold-out shows in the Kuppelsaal in Hanover, the format is now being taken to the next level: open air, in the open air - in the middle of the countryside.<\/p>

The top-class line-up brings together international icons and celebrated club heroes:<\/p>

Louie Vega<\/strong>
Grammy winner, house pioneer and musical visionary - Louie Vega has been shaping the global club scene for over three decades. Whether as one half of Masters at Work, with solo projects or cross-genre collaborations with artists such as George Benson, Luther Vandross or Anan\u00e9 - his sets combine Latin, soul, gospel, disco and house to create an unmistakable, captivating sound.<\/p>

Mousse T.
<\/strong>As a Grammy-nominated producer and DJ with global hits such as \"Horny\" and \"Sex Bomb\", he is one of the figureheads of the international house and disco scene. The Hanoverian tours clubs and festivals worldwide - and brings international flair home with his home game on the Glitterbox stage.<\/p>

MiNNA<\/strong>
The London DJane inspires with her energetic disco and house sound, characterised by 70s vibes, 90s influences and her passion for music since early childhood. International festival and club appearances make her one of the most exciting new names on the scene.<\/p>

Electric Sunday - Hanover's new electronic music highlight<\/p>

On Sunday, 31 August 2025, Hanover will become a vibrant meeting place for the electronic music scene: Electric Sunday celebrates its long-awaited premiere and brings an international club feeling under the open sky of the city park and in the glass hall of the Hanover Congress Centre.
With a finely curated line-up of Afrohouse, house and deep house, the new format promises an unforgettable day full of electrifying atmosphere, hypnotic beats and intoxicating vibes. The city park will be transformed into a green open-air oasis where sound, nature and community merge into a unique experience.<\/p>

You can look forward to renowned DJs and artists from the international scene - the names will be announced shortly, but one thing is already certain: Electric Sunday stands for musical quality, stylish aesthetics and a conscious, dance-loving audience.<\/p>

Whether you're a music lover, scene connoisseur or new to the scene - Electric Sunday is the perfect end to the summer and a new chapter in Hanover's electronic cultural calendar.<\/p>

These are the DJs for \"Electric Sunday\":<\/strong><\/p>

\u00c2me (live)<\/strong><\/p>

\u00c2me - that's Kristian Beyer and Frank Wiedemann, co-founders of the influential label Innervisions. As a duo, they have significantly shaped the sound of the international electronic scene - somewhere between melodic techno, emotional deep house and avant-garde sound design.
In their acclaimed live performance, analogue synths, sophisticated harmonies and pulsating rhythms merge into a hypnotic flow that appeals to both the heart and the body. Anyone who experiences \u00c2me live will sense that this is not a conventional DJ set, but a sonic journey full of intensity and artistic depth.<\/p>

With performances on the world's biggest stages - from Burning Man to Sonar and Berghain - \u00c2me is one of the style-defining acts in electronic music.<\/p>

Reznik<\/strong><\/p>

As part of the Berlin label and collective Keinemusik, Reznik stands for a casual, playful sound between house, disco, breaks and Balearic vibes. His DJ sets are carefully composed stories full of groove, soul and subtle dynamics - never predictable, always danceable.<\/p>

In addition to solo projects, he can regularly be heard in exciting B2B constellations, including with Keinemusik colleagues such as Adam Port or &ME. His deep musicality and keen sense for moods make him a favourite on sophisticated dancefloors worldwide - from Ibiza to Tel Aviv, from Berlin to Cape Town.<\/p>

Reznik brings to the premiere of Electric Sunday exactly the mixture of elegance, warmth and ecstasy for which Keinemusik is so celebrated.<\/p>

Shimza<\/strong><\/p>

South African superstar Shimza has taken the electronic music scene by storm with his unique Afrohouse sound and powerful rhythms. His sets are a perfect blend of technical precision and emotional depth that can be felt physically.<\/p>

He tours worldwide at renowned festivals and clubs such as Tomorrowland (Belgium), Cercle Events (various venues), Ultra Music Festival (Miami) and Berghain (Berlin). A particular highlight is his musical collaboration with the globally acclaimed Black Coffee, with whom he takes African electronic music to a new level.<\/p>

Shimza is not only a musician, but also a cultural driving force with his label Kunye and the platform \"One Man Show\", which promotes local talent and makes Africa's electronic scene internationally visible.<\/p>

Sanfandisco<\/strong><\/p>

J\u00f6rg Gumnior, better known as Sanfandisko, has been a true veteran of the Hanoverian house scene since 1998. Co-founder of the legendary cult party Uschi Rakete, he has been shaping the club culture of his home city for decades.<\/p>

He has been a resident at influential clubs such as Weidendamm, one of the most important venues for electronic music in Hanover. Sanfandisko is also a permanent fixture at renowned event series such as This Ain't Bristol, Uschi Rakete, Der Sonne entgegen, Disco Fieber and the Roter Salon.<\/p>

His musical focus is uncompromisingly on house music - and has been doing so with passion and expertise for over 25 years.
