THE MOVEMENT

THE MOVEMENT was founded in 2002 in Copenhagen by Lukas Scherfey. This three piece power trio play mod rock, and they are influenced by such great bands as The Jam, The Who and The Clash. Their political role models are Rosa Luxemburg and Karl Marx!
They wear suits. Because the mod slogan: “Clean living under difficult circumstances" is their motto. Their name stands for this very movement, The Movement! The band has set itself the goal of shaking up the youth and questioning everything.
Anyone who has ever seen The Movement live on stage knows how incredibly charismatic and captivating their stage performance and their soul-influenced punk songs are!
