Hufeisensee Wietzepark is a cross-border leisure and local recreation area mentioned in the draft Regional Spatial Planning Programme (RROP) of the Hannover Region as a regionally significant local recreation measure. It is a joint project of the Hannover Region, the town of Langenhagen and the municipality of Isernhagen and extends across both municipalities along the river Wietze.
