Multifunctional event venue

The ZAG Arena Hanover is one of the largest multifunctional halls in northern Germany and is a central venue for sport, concerts and shows. With a capacity of up to 14,000 seats, it offers ideal conditions for events of all sizes - from international sports tournaments to major concerts by renowned artists.

The event centre, located in the Hannover-Mitte district, was opened in 2000 and has been an integral part of cultural life in Hannover ever since. The arena plays a particularly important role in ice hockey: it is the home ground of the Hannover Scorpions and offers fans a modern, sport-orientated environment.

Versatile utilisation options in the heart of Hanover

In addition to sporting events, the ZAG Arena Hanover regularly hosts concerts, musicals, TV productions and entertainment formats. The technical equipment meets the highest standards and enables flexible staging, tailored to the respective type of event. The excellent acoustics, the variable room concept and the modern infrastructure make the arena a popular venue - even beyond the region.

Organisers benefit from a comprehensive range of services, from individual event planning to catering concepts and logistics. The convenient location at the Hannover Exhibition Centre with direct access to public transport and ample parking is a further advantage.

Location and accessibility

The ZAG Arena Hanover is located in the immediate vicinity of the Laatzen exhibition railway station and is easily accessible by public transport as well as by car. Thanks to the optimal infrastructure around the exhibition centre, smooth access is guaranteed for several thousand visitors at the same time.

There are numerous hotels, catering establishments and additional event venues such as the exhibition halls or the German Pavilion in the surrounding area. This also makes it possible to combine several event formats - for example as part of trade fairs, congresses or tours.

A variety of events under one roof

The ZAG Arena Hanover stands for a successful symbiosis of technical performance, spatial flexibility and a first-class location. It is an indispensable part of Hanover's event landscape and attracts hundreds of thousands of people every year - whether for sport, music or entertainment.
