Extensive sports programme for students and employees

The Centre for University Sports Hannover (ZfH) is a central facility of Leibniz Universität Hannover and supports members of Hannover's universities with a differentiated exercise programme. With over 800 courses from more than 100 types of sport each semester, the ZfH offers a structured programme for everyone who wants to be active in everyday life.
More than 100 sports in the semester programme

The sports programme ranges from classic disciplines such as volleyball and yoga to modern forms of exercise and outdoor courses. The programme is geared towards the general public. Both beginners and advanced athletes will find suitable training formats. Additional workshops and tournament formats complement the regular course programme.

CAMPUSFit - Fitness with a system

The in-house fitness studio CAMPUSFit at SportCAMPUS Moritzwinkel offers you 750 square metres of training facilities. Digital training control, support from qualified staff and a separate sauna and wellness area are available. A CAMPUSFit membership is required for use.

KletterCAMPUS - indoor climbing on 450 square metres

The KletterCAMPUS has a modern climbing centre with over 80 routes. From the toprope area to bouldering, there is a range of routes for beginners and advanced climbers. A range of courses provides a systematic introduction to climbing.

SportCAMPUS - Centre for movement and encounters

The SportCAMPUS forms the centrepiece of university sports. In addition to sports halls, open spaces and course rooms, it houses the central facilities. Free capacity in the halls can be used by external parties if required - after prior consultation with the ZfH.
Online registration and conditions of participation

Course registration is digital. Students and employees of the partner universities are given preferential access. External students and alumni can also register if available. A semester card is usually required for participation. The optional FitCard also gives you access to flexible group fitness programmes.
Cooperations, events and more

The centre regularly organises events such as the university sports summer party. There is also the opportunity to take part in tournaments, training camps or further training courses. The ZfH is also open to project-based collaborations.
