Café Indiego Glocksee in Hanover is an important venue for alternative music and culture. For over 30 years, it has offered a varied programme ranging from live concerts to club nights. Café Indiego Glocksee emerged from the Independent Youth Centre Glocksee (UJZ), which was founded in 1972. Since then, the facility has developed into an important cultural centre in Hanover. The two clubs, Café Glocksee and Indiego Glocksee, share a common entrance area and offer a varied programme.
The programme of events at Café Indiego Glocksee is wide-ranging. It includes live concerts, club nights and regular event series. Well-known formats include "Ruby Tuesday" at Café Glocksee, where international bands perform, and "Schmittwoch" at Indiego Glocksee, which focuses on local live acts.
The musical spectrum ranges from doom metal, indie, pop, techno to punk. Internationally renowned bands and DJs perform here as well as newcomers.
Café Indiego Glocksee has several event rooms that are used for concerts and club nights. In addition, the large courtyard of the two clubs is used for open-air concerts and parties and is transformed into completely new landscapes.
