With a stock of almost two million books, journals and digital media, the Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz Library - Lower Saxony State Library is one of the largest regional libraries in Germany.
Even then, Leibniz collected works in the sense of a universal library, as he was interested in and at home in all fields of knowledge.
Today, the library houses around 1.6 media units, mainly books. In addition to a bust, exhibited writings and other objects by Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz can also be admired here.
