Germany's bar of the year

The "LieblingsBar" was opened on 14 February 2017 as a restaurant-bar on the market square in the Herrenhausen opened. Every day, the bar wants to be the favourite place on site where our guests are served their favourite drink and their favourite food, where they meet their favourite people, read their favourite book and listen to their favourite music - in short: where they simply like to spend their free time of the day or evening.

The "LieblingsBar" aims to make every day a favourite day for our guests, not only in terms of atmosphere but also in culinary terms - with fresh ingredients from the region and in keeping with the season. In 2019 it was voted "Hanover's Bar of the Year" and in 2021 "Germany's Bar of the Year".

We know our suppliers personally and attach great importance to short distances when purchasing: the bread for our favourite slices and the rolls for the weekend breakfast buffet come from a local artisan baker, the meat for the burgers and grilled sausages from the local butcher and the draught beer from breweries in and around Hanover.
